Land Surveyor Assistant


We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Land Surveyor Assistant to join our team in Os, Norway. As a Land Surveyor Assistant, you will work alongside experienced professionals to assist with various land surveying tasks and projects. This is a part-time position with a starting salary of $1200 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with conducting land surveys using specialized equipment and techniques
- Collect and analyze data from surveys
- Help prepare maps, charts, and reports based on survey data
- Perform calculations and computations to determine property boundaries and locations
- Maintain accurate records of survey data and findings
- Follow safety protocols while working in the field
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (relevant certifications or coursework preferred)
- Strong math skills and attention to detail
- Ability to use surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and laser levels
- Proficiency in computer programs such as AutoCAD or GIS software
- Physical fitness for working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong communication skills in English (Norwegian language proficiency is a plus)
- Prior experience in land surveying is not required but would be beneficial
