Gardening and Landscaping Specialist

Our gardening and landscaping company is seeking a skilled and experienced Gardening and Landscaping Specialist to join our team in Os, Norway. As a Gardening and Landscaping Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and health of our clients' outdoor spaces. This includes planting, pruning, fertilizing, watering, and general maintenance of gardens, lawns, and other outdoor areas. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of plant care and landscape design principles, as well as experience using various gardening tools and equipment. This is a full-time position with accommodation provided. Urgent hiring for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and maintain gardens, lawns, and other outdoor spaces according to client preferences
- Select appropriate plants for specific locations based on soil conditions, climate, and aesthetic goals
- Prune trees, shrubs, and other plants to maintain their health and appearance
- Fertilize plants as needed to promote growth
- Water plants regularly to ensure proper hydration
- Monitor plant health for signs of pests or disease
- Apply mulch or other ground cover materials to protect plants from harsh weather conditions
- Use various gardening tools such as shovels, rakes, shears, etc.
- Operate lawn mowers and other power equipment to maintain lawns
- Install new landscaping features such as flower beds or retaining walls
- Remove weeds from gardens and lawns
- Collaborate with other team members on larger landscaping projects

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in horticulture or related field preferred
- Proven experience working as a gardener or landscaper
- Strong knowledge of plant care techniques
- Familiarity with different types of plants, flowers, trees
- Ability to operate various gardening tools and equipment
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and a creative eye for landscape design
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to follow safety protocols and handle chemicals properly
- Valid driver's license
