Web Developer

We are a growing tech company based in Bergen, seeking a skilled and creative Web Developer to join our team. As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining our company's website, ensuring its functionality and accessibility for users. You will also work closely with our design and marketing teams to implement new features, improve user experience, and optimize site performance.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain the company's website using programming languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Collaborate with designers and marketers to create visually appealing and user-friendly web pages
- Optimize website performance by conducting regular testing and troubleshooting any issues that arise
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in web development to implement new techniques into projects
- Ensure the website is mobile-responsive and compatible across different browsers
- Monitor website traffic and analyze user behavior to make informed decisions for improvements
- Troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise with the site's functionality or performance

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Proven work experience as a Web Developer or similar role
- Proficient in programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
- Experience working with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress or Drupal
- Understanding of SEO principles to ensure website optimization for search engines
- Knowledge of web design principles such as UX/UI, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Salary: $1000 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Bergen (open to applicants from all nationalities)
