Information Technology Manager


We are seeking an experienced Information Technology Manager to join our dynamic team in Bergen. As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our technology department and ensuring that all systems and processes are running smoothly. Your role will involve managing a team of IT professionals, implementing and maintaining IT policies and procedures, and providing technical support to various departments within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Manage a team of IT professionals including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware, software, network infrastructure, and other technology systems.
- Ensure data security measures are in place and adhered to.
- Monitor system performance and provide solutions for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify their technology needs and provide support as needed.
- Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for their implementation.
- Develop disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in case of system failures or disasters.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in information technology management.
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, hardware/software systems, security protocols, and data management principles.
- Experience managing a team of IT professionals.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary package starting at 1200$ per month depending on experience.

Location:
This position is located in Bergen but remote work may be possible for the right candidate.
