Part-Time Network and Systems Administrator
Location: Bergen, Norway


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network and Systems Administrator to join our team on a part-time basis. As the Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing our company's network infrastructure, servers, and computer systems. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with experience in the field looking for a part-time position in Bergen.

Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain network equipment including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Perform regular backups of company data and ensure data security
- Set up user accounts and manage permissions on network systems
- Install and maintain software updates on servers, workstations, and other devices
- Provide technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network related issues
- Maintain inventory of network equipment and software licenses
- Collaborate with other IT team members to identify areas for improvement in the network infrastructure

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Network and Systems Administrator
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP), LAN/WAN technologies, routing/switching protocols
- Experience with Windows/Linux server administration
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently
- Good communication skills

Salary:
This is a part-time position with a salary of $1600 per month.
