IT Support Specialist

Our IT support specialist will be responsible for providing technical assistance to our clients in Bergen, Norway. They will be the first point of contact for any technical issues and will work closely with our team to troubleshoot and resolve problems. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a customer-oriented attitude, and a thorough understanding of computer systems and networks.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, or in-person
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and provide timely resolutions
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals
- Set up user accounts and provide training on company software
- Monitor system performance and report any abnormalities
- Collaborate with other team members to identify recurring issues and find solutions
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and resolutions in our database

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Proven experience as an IT support specialist or similar role
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, networks, and operating systems
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms
- Customer-oriented mindset with a problem-solving attitude
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Fluency in Norwegian is preferred but not required
