IT Support Specialist


We are hiring an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team in Bergen, Norway. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to our clients and ensuring their computer systems are running smoothly. Your role will include troubleshooting hardware and software issues, installing and configuring computer systems, and maintaining network and server infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, strong technical knowledge, and exceptional customer service skills.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, or in person
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and resolve them in a timely manner
- Install and configure computer systems according to client needs
- Maintain network and server infrastructure
- Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement in processes or systems
- Keep track of all support requests and document solutions for future reference
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and updates
- Communicate technical information to non-technical individuals in a clear and understandable manner

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role
- Strong technical knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows/Mac), networking, and software applications
- Experience with troubleshooting hardware/software issues
- Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, TCP/IP protocols, firewalls, VPNs
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a customer-oriented approach
- Able to work well independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1600$ per month.

Location:
This is a contract job located in Bergen, Norway. Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the contract.
