Front-End Developer

As a Front-End Developer, you will be responsible for creating and implementing user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces for web-based applications. You should have a strong understanding of front-end development languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as experience with front-end frameworks like Bootstrap or React. Your role will involve collaborating with designers and back-end developers to ensure seamless integration of front-end components. Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating intuitive user experiences are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain user-facing features using front-end technologies
- Collaborate with designers to translate wireframes into working prototypes
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
- Implement responsive design principles to ensure compatibility across devices
- Troubleshoot and debug issues with front-end code
- Work closely with back-end developers to ensure seamless integration of front-end components
- Continuously improve user experience through feedback and testing

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Front-End Developer or similar role
- Proficient understanding of web markup languages, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap or React
- Familiarity with browser testing and debugging tools
- Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
- Strong attention to detail and ability to translate designs into pixel-perfect web pages
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently

Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
- Familiarity with back-end development languages such as Java or Python
Salary: 900$ per month (part-time)
City: Bergen, Norway (local candidates preferred)
