Junior Back-End Developer
Location: Bergen, Norway


We are seeking a motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Junior Back-End Developer. In this role, you will work closely with our experienced developers to develop and maintain the back-end of our software applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of programming concepts and be eager to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with front-end developers and project managers to design and implement efficient back-end solutions
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using languages such as Java or Python
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in the back-end codebase
- Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and consistency of codebase
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in back-end development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles
- Experience with back-end development using languages such as Java or Python (experience with other languages will also be considered)
- Knowledge of web services (REST, SOAP), databases (SQL, MySQL), and version control systems (Git)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience implementing security measures for web applications
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure

Salary: 1200$
Note: This is an entry-level position suitable for candidates without prior experience. However, candidates with relevant internships or personal projects will be given preference.
