Entry-Level Back-End Developer
We are a leading technology company in Bergen and we are seeking an Entry-Level Back-End Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the back-end of our applications. You will work closely with our front-end developers, designers, and project managers to deliver high-quality products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of back-end development principles and be eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone looking to kickstart their career in back-end development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or Ruby
- Understanding of database management systems like MySQL or MongoDB
- Experience with web development frameworks such as Spring or Django is a plus
- Proven ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain scalable, secure and robust back-end solutions for our applications
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner
- Optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
