Back-End Developer
Location: Bergen, Norway
Salary: 1100$ per week


We are seeking a highly skilled Back-End Developer to join our growing team in Bergen, Norway. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding and modifying applications and software systems according to our clients' needs. You will work closely with our front-end developers and project managers to ensure seamless integration of the back-end functionality.

Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing efficient and reliable server-side code
- Collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Building reusable code and libraries for future use
- Optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Implementing security and data protection measures
- Troubleshooting and debugging issues in a timely manner
- Conducting regular system maintenance and updates

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven work experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role
- Strong proficiency in server-side programming languages such as Java, Python, or PHP
- Experience with database management systems (SQL or NoSQL)
- Familiarity with front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Knowledge of web servers (Apache) and UI/UX design principles is a plus
- Understanding of agile development methodologies
and version control tools (Git)
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to learn new technologies
