Data Analyst


We are in search of a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our dynamic team in Bergen. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing and interpreting complex data to provide valuable insights and recommendations to improve business processes and strategies. Your role will involve working closely with various departments to gather data, identify trends, and create reports that can aid in decision making.

Responsibilities:
- Collect, analyze and interpret large sets of structured and unstructured data
- Develop and maintain databases and data systems
- Identify trends and patterns within the data to provide insights
- Create reports, charts, and graphs to present findings
- Collaborate with different departments to understand their data needs
- Implement effective strategies for data collection, storage, and quality assurance
- Continuously monitor data quality and accuracy
- Stay updated with industry trends and new technologies in the field of data analysis

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze large datasets
- Proficient in SQL and Excel for data manipulation and analysis
- Experience with statistical tools such as R or Python is preferred
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex findings in a clear manner
- Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
- Familiarity with database management systems (SQL Server, MySQL) is a plus

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1300 per month for this full-time position. The salary may be negotiable based on experience.

Location:
This job is based in Bergen, Norway. Candidates from other locations may also apply but must be willing to relocate at their own expense.
