Android Developer

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Android Developer to join our team in Bergen. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for our company. This is a part-time position with a salary of 1100$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Design and build advanced mobile applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong knowledge of Java and the Android SDK
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
- Experience working with third-party libraries and APIs
- Basic understanding of Agile development methodologies
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preference will be given to candidates who have:
- Previous experience in developing Android applications (personal projects or professional)
- Knowledge of Kotlin programming language
- Familiarity with Firebase services
- Experience working with version control systems such as Git

Please note that while experience is preferred, it is not required for this position. We are open to candidates without prior experience who have a strong passion for learning and developing their skills.
