Unity Developer
We are seeking a talented and experienced Unity Developer to join our growing team in Bergen. As a Unity Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-quality game features and functionality using Unity game engine. You will work closely with artists, designers, and other developers to create immersive and engaging gaming experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement game features and functionality using Unity game engine
- Collaborate with artists, designers, and other developers to ensure high-quality gameplay experiences
- Optimize game performance for different platforms including PC, mobile, and console
- Write clean and maintainable code following industry standards
- Troubleshoot and debug technical issues to ensure smooth gameplay experience
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and advancements in the gaming industry
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- 2+ years of professional experience as a Unity Developer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of C# programming language and object-oriented design principles
- Experience working with Unity game engine and its components such as animation system, physics engine, etc.
- Proficient in implementing UI/UX elements using Unity's built-in tools or third-party plugins
- Familiarity with source control systems such as Git or SVN
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Bonus Skills:
- Experience in developing games for VR/AR platforms using Unity engine
- Knowledge of shader programming languages such as HLSL or CGFX
- Passion for gaming industry with a portfolio of personal projects or published games
