Junior Information Security Analyst

As a Junior Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for assisting in the protection of our company's sensitive information from potential cyber threats. You will work closely with our experienced security team to identify and mitigate risks, analyze security data, and implement security measures to safeguard our systems and data. Your role will involve monitoring network activity, conducting vulnerability assessments, and responding to security incidents.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
- Knowledge of information security principles and best practices
- Basic understanding of network protocols and operating systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately

Preferred qualifications:
- Certification in information security (e.g. CompTIA Security+, CISSP)
- Previous experience in an IT or security-related role
- Familiarity with industry regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS

Location: Bergen, Norway

Salary: $1400 per month
