Data Analytics Specialist


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Analytics Specialist to join our team in Bergen. As a Data Analytics Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing large sets of data and providing actionable insights to drive business decisions. Your role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, develop analytical solutions, and communicate findings in a clear and concise manner.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct data analysis using statistical methods and tools to identify patterns and trends
- Develop and maintain data models to support business reporting needs
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide recommendations for data-driven decision making
- Create visualizations and dashboards to effectively communicate analytical findings
- Identify opportunities for process improvement through data analysis
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data analytics

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analytics or a similar role
- Strong proficiency with SQL, Python or R, and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Experience working with large datasets and handling complex data structures
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically about complex problems
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques for predictive modeling is a plus
- Experience working within the retail industry is preferred
- Familiarity with cloud-based databases such as AWS or Azure is desirable

Salary: $1100 per month

Location: Bergen (visa sponsorship available)
