Data Analytics Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Analytics Specialist to join our growing team in Bergen. As a Data Analytics Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that will drive business decisions. You must have a strong background in statistics, data mining, and machine learning techniques. This is a contract job with a salary of 1200$ per month. Accommodation will be provided, along with a free visa and ticket for non-local candidates. This is an urgent position that requires at least 3-5 years of experience in data analytics or related field.

Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough data analysis to identify patterns and trends
- Developing predictive models using statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide actionable insights
- Implementing data quality controls to ensure accuracy of analysis
- Presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
- Staying up-to-date with industry advancements and incorporating new tools and techniques into data analysis processes

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science or related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analytics or similar role
- Strong knowledge of statistical methods, data mining techniques, and machine learning algorithms
- Proficiency in SQL, Python/R, Excel, and other relevant tools for data analysis
- Experience working with large datasets and databases
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information in an understandable manner
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in statistics, mathematics or related field
- Experience working in the healthcare industry is a plus
- Familiarity with Tableau or other visualization tools
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or C++

Location: Bergen (Relocation assistance may be provided for non-local candidates)

Salary: 1200$ per month

Contract Type: Full-time, 6 months (with possibility of extension)
