Interpreter (English-Norwegian)

As an Interpreter for our company in Bergen, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely interpretation services between English and Norwegian. This is a full-time position, with a salary of 1400$. We are open to hiring freshers who have the necessary language skills and are eager to learn and grow in the field of interpretation.

Responsibilities:
- Provide interpretation services between English and Norwegian for meetings, conferences, and other events.
- Act as a cultural liaison between English-speaking clients and Norwegian-speaking counterparts.
- Ensure accuracy and clarity in interpretation by researching terminology and preparing notes ahead of time.
- Maintain confidentiality and neutrality in all interpretations.
- Serve as a professional representative of our company at all times.

Requirements:
- Fluent in both English and Norwegian, with excellent verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of cultural differences between the two languages.
- Ability to multitask, remain calm under pressure, and think quickly on your feet.
- Attention to detail and strong research skills to ensure accuracy in interpretation.
- Professional demeanor with the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in language or related field.
- Previous experience as an interpreter or translator is a plus but not required.
