Formwork Technician

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Formwork Technician to join our team in Bergen. As a Formwork Technician, you will be responsible for constructing and assembling various types of formwork for concrete structures. This includes reading and interpreting blueprints, preparing formwork materials, setting up formwork systems, and ensuring the accuracy and stability of the forms. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting any issues that may arise during the construction process.

To excel in this role, you must have a strong understanding of construction principles and techniques, as well as excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Attention to detail is crucial in ensuring the accuracy and stability of the formwork. Additionally, you must be able to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with other team members.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine formwork specifications
- Prepare materials such as wood, metal, or plastic for use in formwork construction
- Set up formwork systems according to specifications
- Ensure accuracy and stability of formwork by using measuring tools and adjusting as needed
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the construction process
- Work closely with other team members to ensure safe and efficient completion of projects
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Formworker or similar role preferred
- Strong understanding of construction principles and techniques
- Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to read blueprints accurately
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions
- Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot any issues during construction
- Ability to work well in a team environment
