Job Title: Architectural Technologist


As an Architectural Technologist in our firm, you will be responsible for creating and implementing detailed architectural designs and plans. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and clients to ensure that all designs meet building codes, safety regulations, and client requirements. Your attention to detail and strong technical skills will be crucial in producing accurate and efficient designs. This role requires a high level of creativity and problem-solving abilities as well as proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with architects to develop detailed designs and plans for construction projects
- Conduct site visits to gather measurements, photos, and other relevant information
- Use CAD software to create 2D and 3D models of buildings
- Ensure that all designs comply with building codes, safety regulations, and client specifications
- Make revisions to designs based on feedback from architects, engineers, or clients
- Create detailed construction drawings for contractors to follow during the building process
- Research materials and products to be used in construction projects
- Communicate regularly with project team members to ensure deadlines are met

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an architectural technologist or similar role
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or Revit
- Strong understanding of building codes and safety regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical drawings
- Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and processes
- Good communication skills for collaborating with team members and presenting designs to clients

Preferred:
- Experience working on commercial or residential projects in Bergen or other Norwegian cities
