Preservation Architect (Part-Time)
City: Bergen, Norway
As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures in the city of Bergen. Your main duties will include conducting research on the history and architecture of these buildings, assessing their condition, and developing plans for their restoration. You will also work closely with local authorities to ensure that all restoration projects comply with relevant regulations and guidelines. Additionally, you will liaise with contractors and oversee the implementation of restoration plans.
To be successful in this role, you should have a degree in Architecture or a related field, as well as at least 2 years of experience in historic preservation. You must also possess strong research skills and knowledge of relevant building codes and regulations. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will be working with various stakeholders including government officials, property owners, and contractors.
This is a part-time position with a salary of 1400$ per month. As this is a part-time role, our preference is for candidates who already have accommodation in Bergen or are willing to commute to the city for work. A biometric passport is required for this role.
