A reputable architectural firm in Bergen is seeking a Part-Time Preservation Architect to join our team. This position is suitable for men who are passionate about preserving historical buildings and have a deep understanding of architectural preservation techniques.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct on-site assessments and surveys of historical buildings to evaluate their condition and identify areas in need of preservation work
- Develop preservation plans and strategies for historical buildings, including recommendations for materials, techniques, and timelines
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other architects to ensure that preservation work is carried out according to plan
- Communicate with clients to provide updates on the progress of preservation projects and address any concerns or questions they may have
- Stay up-to-date on current preservation trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure the highest quality of work

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in architectural preservation (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of historical building materials, construction techniques, and restoration methods
- Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant design tools
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

This is a part-time position with a salary starting at 1700$ per month. Our ideal candidate will be able to commit to working 20 hours per week. As this role involves conducting site visits, candidates must be physically able to navigate construction sites and climb ladders.
