Commercial ArchitectLocation: Bergen, Norway

As a Commercial Architect, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of commercial buildings and structures. Your main goal will be to create functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces that meet the needs of clients and adhere to all safety and building codes. This is a contract job with an urgent need, but no prior experience is required as on-the-job training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop design plans that meet their requirements
- Create detailed drawings and blueprints using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Oversee the construction process to ensure that the project is completed on time, within budget, and according to the design plans
- Communicate with contractors, engineers, and other professionals involved in the construction process
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise
- Evaluate materials, costs, and building regulations to make informed decisions about design plans
- Provide guidance and support to junior architects or interns on the team

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or Revit
- Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction processes
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines

Salary:
This is a contract job paying 1800$ per month. Accommodation will also be provided for the duration of the contract.
