Industrial Architect - Contract Position

We are in search of a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Architect to join our team on a contract basis in Bergen. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of industrial buildings and structures. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop plans that meet their requirements while adhering to all relevant regulations and safety standards.

To excel in this position, you must have a strong understanding of industrial design principles, as well as experience working with construction teams and contractors. A biometric passport is required for travel to project sites.

Responsibilities:
- Work with clients to understand project requirements and develop design proposals
- Create detailed architectural drawings and specifications
- Oversee construction processes to ensure compliance with plans and safety standards
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals involved in projects
- Monitor progress of projects and make necessary adjustments as needed
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial architecture
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or other design software
- Strong understanding of building codes, zoning laws, and safety standards
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
