Senior Architect

As a Senior Architect, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of buildings, from concept to completion. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop architectural plans that meet their budget and aesthetic preferences. You will also oversee a team of architects and designers, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the field of architecture, with a strong portfolio showcasing their design skills. This is a full-time position based in Bergen, with a salary of $1400 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop architectural plans
- Oversee the construction process from concept to completion
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure project feasibility
- Create detailed drawings and blueprints using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Oversee a team of architects and designers, delegating tasks and providing guidance as needed
- Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise
- Stay updated on industry trends, building codes, and regulations to ensure compliance in all projects

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field
- Proven experience as an architect with a strong portfolio showcasing design skills
- Extensive knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction methods
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with clients, team members, and other professionals
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work under pressure while meeting strict deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on commercial or residential projects in Norway or other Scandinavian countries
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles
- Ability to speak Norwegian or another Scandinavian language
