Fitter - Mechanical Maintenance Technician

We are in need of a skilled and experienced Fitter to join our team in Bergen, Norway. As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical equipment and systems. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work well independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment
- Identify any faults or malfunctions and perform repairs as needed
- Install new equipment and ensure it is functioning properly
- Read blueprints and technical diagrams to determine best course of action for repairs or installations
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and report any issues or concerns to management
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing duties

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical degree preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a fitter or similar role
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical diagrams
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment
- Ability to work well independently or as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects if necessary

Salary:
