Senior Architect

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Architect to join our team in Bergen, Norway. As a Senior Architect, you will be responsible for leading and managing architectural projects from conception to completion, ensuring that they meet quality standards and client expectations. You will use your extensive knowledge and experience to provide innovative design solutions and manage all aspects of the project, including budget, timeline, and team coordination. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial projects, strong leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:
- Lead architectural projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion within budget
- Develop design concepts and create detailed drawings using AutoCAD or other software
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and translate them into functional design solutions
- Manage project team members, including architects, engineers, and contractors
- Oversee construction progress to ensure compliance with design plans and specifications
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise
- Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements in technology to incorporate into designs

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
- At least 5 years of experience as an architect with a strong portfolio of completed projects
- Proficient in AutoCAD or other design software
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction methods
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly
- Attention to detail with a creative mindset
