Excavator Operator - Contract Position in Bergen

We are in need of an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team for a contract position in Bergen. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to excavate and move materials on construction sites. Your main goal will be to ensure the efficient and safe movement of materials while following all necessary safety procedures.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Excavator Operator
- Valid certification and license to operate heavy machinery
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to excavation work
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and drawings
- Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to operate machinery with precision

Responsibilities:
- Operate excavator equipment, including but not limited to digging trenches, loading/unloading materials, and moving earth or other materials as needed
- Perform daily maintenance checks on the equipment and report any issues or malfunctions immediately
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating the excavator, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Communicate effectively with other team members on site, including construction workers, supervisors, and engineers
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times

Salary: $1700 per month.

This is a contract position without accommodation provided. Preference will be given to candidates who have their own accommodations in Bergen or are willing to find their own housing.
