Machine Operator


A machine operator is responsible for operating and maintaining machines in a production or manufacturing setting. This role requires a high level of technical skills and attention to detail to ensure that the machines are running efficiently and producing high-quality products. As a machine operator, you will work with various types of equipment, such as lathes, drills, milling machines, and grinders.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain machines according to company standards and safety guidelines
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during production
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them in good working condition
- Maintain accurate records of production data, including output quantities and downtime
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding any production issues or concerns

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Prior experience as a machine operator is preferred but not required
- Strong technical skills and ability to read blueprints or technical diagrams
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods of time while operating machinery
- Good communication skills in English (Norwegian is a plus)
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing production needs

Location:
This position is located in Bergen, Norway.

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1100 USD per month.

Contract job:
This is a contract job with the duration of the contract depending on the needs of the company.
