Junior Accountant


We are searching for a highly motivated Junior Accountant to join our growing financial team in Bergen. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for providing support to the accounting department by performing various tasks such as data entry, reconciliations, and preparing financial reports. This is a full-time position with a starting salary of $1400 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Prepare and enter journal entries into the accounting system
- Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies
- Assist in preparing financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate recording of transactions
- Handle general accounting duties as assigned by senior team members

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Biometric passport is preferred but not required
- Previous accounting experience is a plus, but not required
