Seasonal Executive Chef in Bergen, Norway
We are seeking a talented and passionate Executive Chef to join our team in Bergen, Norway for a seasonal position. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations of our restaurant and ensuring high-quality, delicious meals are served to our guests. Responsibilities:
- Create and develop menus that are both innovative and in line with our restaurant's concept
- Oversee daily kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Train and manage kitchen staff, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency are maintained
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a safe and clean workspace, following all health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with servers and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service flow
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Executive Chef or Sous Chef preferred but not required
- Passion for food and creativity in menu development
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate kitchen staff
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1500$ per month for this seasonal position.
