Temporary Restaurant Manager
We are currently seeking a Temporary Restaurant Manager to join our team in Bergen. As the Temporary Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring high quality service and customer satisfaction. This is a temporary position with the possibility of becoming permanent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of the restaurant, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and customer service
- Train and supervise restaurant staff to ensure high quality service standards are met
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the restaurant at all times
- Monitor and control food costs and expenses to meet budget targets
- Create new menu items and specials to attract customers and increase sales
- Handle customer complaints or issues in a professional manner
- Collaborate with other departments such as kitchen staff, marketing, and finance to ensure smooth operations
- Monitor sales trends and make necessary adjustments to improve profitability
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a restaurant manager or similar role
- Excellent communication skills and ability to lead a team effectively
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must have own visa/permit to work legally in Bergen
