Entry-Level Dietitian in Bergen, Norway

As an Entry-Level Dietitian in Bergen, Norway, you will be responsible for providing nutrition counseling and education to patients in a healthcare setting. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop individualized nutrition plans and monitor patients' progress. Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics
- Registered Dietitian (RD) certification preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Knowledge of current nutrition guidelines and trends
- Fluent in English (Norwegian proficiency is a plus)
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new environments

Responsibilities:
- Conduct nutrition assessments of patients and develop personalized meal plans based on their needs and health goals
- Educate patients on healthy eating habits, portion control, and food choices that align with their medical conditions
- Monitor patients' progress and make necessary adjustments to their meal plans as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and nurses, to ensure coordinated care for patients
- Stay updated on current nutrition research and guidelines to provide evidence-based recommendations to patients
- Provide support and guidance to patients with special dietary needs, such as those with food allergies or intolerances
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records of all counseling sessions

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1700$ per month. In addition, accommodation will be provided.
