Barista - Coffee Specialist (Contract)



We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team in Bergen, Norway. As a Coffee Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and serving high-quality coffee beverages to our customers. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccino, and lattes, according to customer orders
- Ensure consistent quality in all drinks served by following proper recipes and techniques
- Maintain a clean and organized work station at all times
- Provide friendly and efficient service to customers, taking their orders and processing payments accurately
- Educate customers on different coffee blends and brewing methods
- Monitor inventory levels and alert management when supplies need to be restocked
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times

Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Barista or in a similar role
- Excellent knowledge of different types of coffee beans, roasts, and brewing methods
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for processing payments accurately
- High school diploma or equivalent education required
