We are in need of a skilled and experienced electrician to join our team on a contract basis in Bergen, Norway. This is an urgent job opportunity that offers competitive salary of $1200 per week.

As a contract electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various residential and commercial buildings. You will work with a variety of tools and equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety of electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints or technical diagrams to determine the location of wiring or equipment
- Install and maintain wiring, control, and lighting systems
- Inspect electrical components such as transformers and circuit breakers
- Identify electrical problems with testing devices
- Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools
- Follow state and local building regulations based on the National Electric Code
- Collaborate with construction contractors to complete new electrical installations
- Respond quickly to emergency calls for repairs

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an electrician (minimum 2 years)
- Valid electrician license or certification
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical diagrams
- Familiarity with state and local building regulations based on the National Electric Code
- Strong knowledge of different types of electrical systems and components
- Ability to work in confined spaces or at heights
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good physical condition
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills
