Head Chef
An established restaurant in the beautiful city of Bergen is seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to join our team. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing our menu, managing kitchen operations, and overseeing a team of chefs and kitchen staff.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Head Chef in a high-end restaurant
- Extensive knowledge of international cuisine with a focus on Norwegian dishes
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team effectively
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Creative flair and passion for culinary arts
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities:
- Develop and update menus based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, presentation, and consistency are maintained at all times
- Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff to ensure high standards are met
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs within budget constraints
- Maintain cleanliness and adhere to safety regulations in the kitchen area
- Collaborate with management to plan special events or promotions

Salary: $1400 per month (negotiable based on experience)
