Head Chef - Fine Dining Restaurant in Bergen, Norway
As the Head Chef of our upscale restaurant in Bergen, Norway, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations. You will work closely with the restaurant manager to create and maintain a high-quality dining experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute seasonal menus that showcase local ingredients and cater to different dietary restrictions
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, including sous chefs, line cooks, and prep cooks
- Monitor food quality and ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes
- Manage inventory and order supplies to maintain food cost within budget
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen at all times
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and procedures
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience as a chef in fine dining restaurants or luxury hotels
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a team
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavor profiles
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Creative mindset with a passion for creating innovative dishes
Salary: $1700 per month (negotiable based on experience)
