Instrument Technician
An established oil and gas company in Bergen is seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and calibrating various types of instruments used in the oil and gas industry. This is a contract position with a salary of $1300, including free visa and ticket.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular maintenance on all instruments to ensure proper functioning
- Troubleshoot any issues with instruments and make necessary repairs
- Calibrate instruments according to industry standards
- Keep accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and calibrations
- Communicate effectively with other team members to coordinate work schedules
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while working on instruments
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Instrument Technician in the oil and gas industry
- Diploma or degree in a relevant field such as Instrumentation or Electrical Engineering
- Knowledge of various types of instruments used in the oil and gas industry
- Ability to read technical diagrams and manuals
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to work on a contract basis with a flexible schedule
