Instrument Technician (Contract) - Bergen, Norway


We are currently seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Bergen, Norway on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instrumentation maintenance and troubleshooting, with experience working in the oil and gas industry.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on all types of instrumentation equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instruments, including pressure transmitters, flow meters, level sensors, and control valves
- Install new instruments and ensure proper calibration and functionality
- Work closely with other technicians and engineers to troubleshoot complex systems
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while working on equipment
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as an Instrument Technician in the oil and gas industry
- Diploma or technical degree in Instrumentation or a related field
- Experience with various types of instrumentation equipment including pressure transmitters, flow meters, level sensors, and control valves
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Valid work visa for Norway (sponsorship not provided)
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
