Part-Time Crane Operator

We are searching for a skilled and reliable Part-Time Crane Operator to join our team in Bergen. As a Part-Time Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of cranes to lift, move, and position heavy objects at construction sites or other locations. You will work on a part-time basis with flexible hours, making this an ideal opportunity for someone looking for additional income or a more flexible work schedule.

Responsibilities:
- Operate different types of cranes including mobile, tower, and overhead cranes according to safety standards and manufacturer instructions
- Perform pre-operation checks on equipment to ensure it is in good working condition
- Inspect rigging equipment and ensure proper set up before lifting operations
- Follow load charts and use proper techniques to lift heavy objects safely
- Communicate with ground crew using hand signals or two-way radio systems
- Report any issues or malfunctions with the crane to the supervisor immediately
- Keep accurate records of daily activities and inspections

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a crane operator
- Valid crane operator license/certification from an accredited institution
- Knowledge of different types of cranes and their operation techniques
- Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures for lifting heavy objects
- Ability to read load charts and follow manufacturer instructions
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Salary: $1700 per month (based on part-time hours)
Location: Bergen, Norway (no accommodation provided)
