Surveyor
As a Surveyor, you will be responsible for measuring, mapping, and analyzing land and bodies of water. Your duties will include conducting surveys using specialized equipment and software, analyzing data and creating maps, and providing accurate data to developers, engineers, and other professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting field surveys to gather data on land or water features
- Using specialized equipment such as GPS receivers, total stations, and drones to collect accurate measurements
- Analyzing survey data and creating detailed maps using software such as AutoCAD or GIS
- Ensuring accuracy of measurements and calculations by following established standards and procedures
- Collaborating with engineers, architects, and construction teams to provide necessary data for projects
- Keeping detailed records of survey data and producing reports as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in surveying or related field
- Proven experience as a Surveyor or similar role
- Proficient in using surveying equipment and software such as AutoCAD or GIS
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to perform complex calculations
- Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in measurements
- Excellent communication skills for working with other professionals and presenting findings
- Ability to work independently in varying weather conditions
