Skilled Carpenter

We are seeking a highly skilled Carpenter to join our team in Bergen, Norway. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. Your main duties will include measuring and cutting materials, assembling and installing structures, and ensuring high-quality craftsmanship. You may also be required to work on various projects such as building cabinets, shelves, or other furniture pieces.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut materials according to blueprints or instructions
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, doors, and frames
- Construct building frameworks including walls, floors, and doorframes
- Inspect and repair damaged structures or fixtures
- Follow safety procedures at all times
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects on time
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
- Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques and methods
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Physical stamina to handle heavy materials and perform manual labor for extended periods of time
- Attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality work
- Excellent communication skills
- Valid driver's license preferred

Salary: 1800$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

City: Bergen, Norway
