Gardener Supervisor

As a Gardener Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the maintenance and upkeep of various gardens and landscaping projects in Bergen. You will supervise a team of gardeners, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard. This role requires at least 3 years of experience in gardening or landscaping, as well as strong leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of gardeners, providing guidance and support as needed
- Plan and schedule tasks for the team, ensuring that all projects are completed on time
- Maintain and repair gardens, including planting, pruning, weeding, and mowing
- Monitor plant health and identify any issues or diseases that may arise
- Manage equipment and tools, ensuring they are properly maintained and stored
- Oversee the use of pesticides and fertilizers to maintain plant health
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and preferences for their gardens
- Train new gardeners on proper techniques and safety protocols
- Keep track of inventory and order supplies when needed

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in gardening or landscaping
- Experience in supervising a team is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of different types of plants, trees, flowers, and shrubs commonly found in Bergen
- Ability to operate gardening equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and leaf blowers
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Good communication skills to interact with clients
- Physically fit with the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- A keen eye for detail to ensure gardens are well-maintained
- Valid work permit or visa for Norway

Salary:
1300$ per month
