Gardener (Contract, Visa Sponsorship Available) in Bergen, Norway


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Gardener to join our team in Bergen, Norway. As a Gardener, you will be responsible for maintaining and beautifying our outdoor spaces, including gardens, lawns, and trees. This is a contract position with visa sponsorship available for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:
- Planting, watering, and pruning flowers, shrubs, and trees
- Maintaining lawns by mowing, edging, and fertilizing
- Controlling weeds and pests using safe and environmentally friendly methods
- Installing and repairing irrigation systems
- Designing new garden layouts and selecting appropriate plants
- Operating gardening equipment such as lawnmowers, trimmers, and chainsaws
- Ensuring the proper storage of gardening tools and equipment
- Collaborating with other team members to complete landscaping projects on time

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Gardener or in a similar role
- Knowledge of various plants species and their care requirements
- Ability to operate gardening equipment safely and effectively
- Good physical fitness as the job may require heavy lifting or prolonged periods of standing/walking
- Attention to detail to ensure gardens are well-maintained at all times
- Flexibility to work weekends or overtime when necessary

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with visa sponsorship applications for international candidates is highly desirable

- Proficiency in Norwegian or another Scandinavian language is an advantage

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1100 per month.
