Job Title: Barber/ Hair Stylist


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Barber/Hair Stylist to join our team in Bergen, Norway. As a Barber/Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality hair cutting, styling, and grooming services to our clients. You must have a strong understanding of different hair types and styles, as well as excellent customer service skills. The ideal candidate should also be able to work well under pressure and have a friendly and professional demeanor. This is a contract position with a salary of 1500$ per month, including accommodation. All nationalities are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and discuss their desired hairstyle
- Provide consultations on hair care and maintenance
- Perform hair cutting, styling, and grooming services
- Keep work area clean and sanitized
- Maintain knowledge of current hair trends and techniques
- Upsell products and services to clients when appropriate
- Handle customer complaints and ensure customer satisfaction
- Follow safety protocols for handling tools and chemicals
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Barber/Hair Stylist
- Excellent knowledge of different hair types, styles, and techniques
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure
- Customer-oriented with good sales skills
- Friendly personality with excellent customer service skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Flexibility to work on evenings or weekends if needed
- Must have own barbering tools

Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Completion of a barbering program or apprenticeship is preferred.

Language:
Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of other languages is considered an asset.

Location:
The job will be located in Bergen, Norway.

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1500$ per month.

Accommodation:
Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the contract.
