Caregiver for Elderly in Bergen

As a caregiver for the elderly in Bergen, you will provide compassionate and dedicated care to seniors in their homes. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, and medication reminders, as well as providing companionship and emotional support. You will also be responsible for light housekeeping and meal preparation.

Your primary goal will be to ensure the safety and well-being of your elderly clients while promoting their independence and maintaining their dignity. You must have a genuine love for working with seniors and be able to handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.

You must also have excellent communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with your clients, their families, and healthcare professionals. An understanding of medical conditions commonly affecting seniors such as dementia or Alzheimer's is preferred.

This position requires at least 1-2 years of experience in caregiving or a related field. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A background check and drug screening will also be conducted.

In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of $1600 per month with accommodation provided. This includes a private room within the client's home or a separate apartment nearby.
