Caregiver/Personal Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Caregiver/Personal Support Worker to join our team in providing exceptional care to our clients in Bergen, Norway. As a caregiver, you will be responsible for assisting with the daily activities of our clients, including personal care, meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping. You will also provide emotional support and companionship to our clients.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a caregiver or personal support worker
- Certification in first aid and CPR
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Physical ability to lift and transfer clients if needed
- Valid work permit for Norway (if not a Norwegian citizen)
- Must be able to pass background check

Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Prepare meals according to dietary restrictions and assist with feeding if necessary
- Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Help with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and cleaning
- Accompany clients on errands or appointments as needed
- Document daily care activities and report any changes or concerns to the supervisor
