Body Repair Master
As a Body Repair Master, your main responsibility will be to repair and restore damaged vehicles to their original condition. You will be using various tools and techniques to fix dents, scratches, and other damages on cars, trucks, or other vehicles. You will also be responsible for conducting thorough inspections to identify any underlying issues that may need attention. This role requires strong attention to detail and a keen eye for quality workmanship.
Responsibilities:
- Assessing the damage on vehicles and developing a repair plan
- Using hand and power tools to remove dents, scratches, and other damages
- Repairing or replacing damaged parts such as bumpers, fenders, doors, etc.
- Sanding, priming, and painting surfaces to match the original color
- Conducting quality checks to ensure all repairs are up to standards
- Communicating with customers about the repair process and providing cost estimates
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- Proven experience in body repair or auto body technician role
- Knowledge of tools and techniques used in body repair
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
- Ability to read and follow repair manuals or instructions
- Good communication skills for interacting with customers
- Physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting heavy objects as required in the job
- Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment
Location: This position is based in Bergen but applicants from other areas are welcome.
Salary: Starting salary of $1000 per month.
