Body Repair Master


Our busy auto body shop in Bergen is seeking a skilled and experienced Body Repair Master to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auto body repair and painting, with extensive knowledge of different techniques and materials for repairing and restoring vehicles.

Responsibilities:
- Inspect damaged vehicles and assess repair needs
- Perform body repair work, including frame straightening, dent removal, and panel replacement
- Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, priming, and masking
- Mix paint colors to match vehicle's original color
- Apply paint using various techniques such as spray guns, brushes, or rollers
- Ensure quality control by inspecting finished work for accuracy and completeness
- Keep track of materials used and maintain inventory levels

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in auto body repair and painting
- Strong knowledge of different techniques for repairing various types of damage
- Familiarity with different types of paints and their application methods
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and spray equipment effectively
- Detail-oriented with excellent time-management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
