We are hiring a skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Alta, Norway. As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our network infrastructure, as well as ensuring the smooth operation of our systems. Your main tasks will include troubleshooting network issues, configuring and installing network equipment, and monitoring system performance.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain our network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking equipment.
- Troubleshoot network issues and provide solutions to ensure maximum uptime.
- Configure and install new network equipment as needed.
- Monitor system performance to identify potential issues and take appropriate action to resolve them.
- Collaborate with other team members to implement new technologies or upgrades to existing systems.
- Maintain security protocols and ensure data protection across the network.
- Keep accurate records of network configurations, updates, and maintenance activities.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Proven experience as a Network and Systems Administrator or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools such as Wireshark or SolarWinds.
- Experience with configuring and troubleshooting Cisco networking equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.

Salary:
This position offers a competitive salary of 1300$ per month.

Location:
The role is based in Alta, Norway. However, remote work options may be available for exceptional candidates who are unable to relocate.

Contract:
This is a full-time position on a contract basis. The length of the contract will depend on the project requirements.
